Asteria is the ideal beach in Syros if you want to take a quick swim in Hermoupolis. However, we must tell you that… it’s not actually a beach, and you won’t find a single grain of sand. What is Asteria then? It’s a small concrete platform with a ladder leading into the sea; nevertheless, it’s one of the most exciting and vibrant spots to swim in Syros. You can either dive off the platform or swim and sit back to enjoy the view of Hermoupolis.
