A historic hotel in a beautiful, neoclassical listed building in the heart of the island’s capital, Chora. Egli Hotel is housed in a two-floor neoclassical building dating back to 1900, which was fully renovated in 2010 with emphasis on maintaining the traditional prestige of its noble beauty whilst offering all the modern comforts expected in a modern hotel. The building was once the private residence of an aristocratic shipping family, it was converted into a hotel in 1953, thus making it one of the first hotels in the island’s capital. In 2010 the hotel was fully renovated creating 9 rooms combining modern amenities with neoclassical décor, and a contemporary breakfast room showcasing the century old traditional wooden carved ceiling from cypress trees. As one enters the hotel’s main entrance, they will come across the spectacular marble spiral staircase with its wooden banister which will take them back to a bygone era of nautical tradition and resplendent mansions that make up Andro’s rich history. The hotel’s central location, its incomparable neoclassical beauty, the rooms’ modern amenities and delicious, homemade breakfast in combination with our hospitality, will offer the traveler a unique choice in a one of a kind Cycladic island!
Egli Hotel is comprised of 9 fully furnished rooms with all the modern comforts. All the rooms are decorated in a neoclassical manner with the only differences between them being their size, capacity, orientation, and color schemes.
