THE COMPANY
Tonia Agiopetritou, former journalist (editor in chief of the greek editions of ELLE Decoration, Marie Claire Deco and Director of Harper’s Bazaar,greek edition) is an honorary member of the Hellenic Chef’s Club and a pioneer in greek gastronomy press, which she has served with international distinction for over two decades. It is Tonia, her businessman husband and two sons, a news anchorman and a theatrical director, who have conceived of this boutique hotel, which, amongst others, emphasises on offering guests a truly unique culinary experience. This, therefore, is a family affair, brought to existence by a group of cosmopolitan and successful people, who believe that Naxos should stand in par with the finest gastronomical destinations in the world. From breakfast, served with a variety of top quality local products, through snacks and small meals and all the way to our exclusive dining services, personalized to our guests’ desires, Ayiopetra Exclusive Getaways is also a par excellence gastronomical destination for the discerning few.
Ayiopetra Exclusive Getaways lies above a breathtaking olive grove facing the ancient temple of Demeter, goddess of nature and fertility. No wonder why the gods spread their grace on this blessed land. This is where the Greek architects Themis Bilis and Maria Magnisali (who participated in the renovation of the temple of Demeter and are also the designers/architects of the nearby museum which was awarded by the according EU committee) created this exclusive getaway right in the center of the unexplored gem of the Cyclades, Naxos.
Ayiopetra Exclusive Getaways was designed to invoke a calming ambience, with open spaces and contemporary minimalist touches. While the well known theatrical director Dimitris Bogdanos artistically directed all public spaces and finalized the interior suite design.
