THE COMPANY
Assyrtico is simple, friendly and a pleasant small world on its own. Our name derives from the rare white, world renowned, indigenous to Santorini grape variety “Assyrtiko”.
Open all day; with modern aesthetics, breezy from the trees and plants. We offer great service, breakfast, coffee, desserts, snacks and high quality modern Greek/Mediterranean cuisine on top of an extensive selection of approximately 100 Greek wine labels from the volcanic vines of the island and other areas of Greece.
We create our menu dishes with Greek products, often PDO (Protected Destination of Origin), as we are particularly inspired by local products, like the famous Santorini cherry tomatoes, round zucchinis, white eggplants and fava.
Located in a beautiful green yard in the center of Fira, in Santorini, Assyrtico has easy access from the caldera as well as the main square. Our door becomes the most beautiful “picture frame”, only one step away from one of the best spots to admire the Fira caldera and the most famous volcano of the Cyclades! The place is also ideal for private occasions or for those who want their guests to experience a big and loud party!
