Climbing the stairs of Chora in Kea, you enter into the narrow streets.
There, during winter and summer, with indoor and outdoor seating, a cozy hangout of taste operates called "The Piazza", which has its roots in the 1990s. Wood tables, earth tones and photos of the island beautify the walls and take you to the old days.
Daily in the morning, operates like cafe with strong and refreshing European and American coffees, with Greek coffee, with boiled eggs, golden omelette, refreshing yogurt with honey, fresh bread and butter. A tonic and tasty Greek breakfast!
As the noon approaches "The Piazza" is transformed into a restaurant and you are traveling to local delights and traditional Greek recipes..
The owner Mr. John Paouris gives his potential "signature" in the kitchen. With much love, curates seafood flavors and not only: moussaka as "Mom" would make it, golden delicious lasagne with bechamel, beef burger cooked in the oven with tomato and ham, delicious colorful imam, "chylomenoi" giants, fava, homemade pies and lots of cool, fresh salads. Try barley buns and introduce yourself to the taste of Kea, without leaving disappointed the spicy octopus stew, the deliciously baked sardines, the "paspala", the "louza" and the smoked sausage!
