THE COMPANY
This wonderful cafe-bar has been created from the shell of an old working windmill, which has stood sentry over the entrance to the bay of Parikia for the last 200 years.
In 1989 the abandoned windmill was for sale. After all the red-tape ordeal restoration began in 1997, Alexandros Cafe/Bar opened its doors in 1998 as an establishment.
Today the windmill is a unique elegant Cafe-Bar. With the first steps onto the terrace you're immediately captivated by the superb 360o degree panoramic view, your eyes travel the skyline down to Parikia harbor then around the bay out to the sea.
Enjoy the delightful atmosphere watching the sunset while tasting our wide variety of cocktails, coffees, ice creams etc.
