THE COMPANY
Aloni is an old farmhouse which has been used for more than two centuries as a dwelling of the farmers cultivating the fertile land of Phylakopi in Milos. Consistent with its long history it was renovated with eco-friendly materials preserving the original structure and shape of the building and with the outmost respect to the environment.
Half of the house being carved in the rock of a small hill while the other half was built of Melian stones, it occupies an area of 100 m2 in a land of 4000 m2. The sea-garden lies on the most beautiful part of the property facing the sea (100m). Green and colorful, it is an ideal place to marvel at beautiful red and orange colored sunrises or sunsets.
LOCATION
The area of Phylakopi is a fertile small valley at the northern part of Milos where various prehistoric cities repeatedly flourished between 3000 and 1000 BC. They became famous commercial centers of the then precious obsidian which was traded to the islands of the Aegean, Crete, Continental Greece and Asia Minor.
