Milos, the island of Aphrodite, is located at the southwest of the Cyclades region and the fifth-largest port amongst the islands of the complex. It has the largest and safest natural port of the Mediterranean, the Adamas, and about 70 beaches with crystal waters, white and gold sand and dream landscapes.
Among the better-known attractions of Milos are the Catacombs, the Filakopi, the Ancient Theatre, and the Archaeological, the Folklore and Mining Museums, always open and worth visiting. Milos' mineral waters and its rich mining history are also centre of attraction.
