THE COMPANY
Santorini Med Homes are cozy and tastefully decorated apartments at the central and yet quiet village of Messaria, with easy access to the traditional settlement, a place blessed with beauty, decorated with renaissance colors, old mansions, cobblestone paths & alleyways, blue or white domed churches and cave houses and inhabited by people known for their hospitality.
The complex consists of four, attractively furnished, maisonette-style apartments, on the first floor of a handsome house built according to the traditional Santorinian architecture. Each Home disposes one bedroom with king size bed, a cozy living room with exceptionally well-fitted kitchen, dining table with chairs and a sofa bed, and a stylish wooden loft with vaulted ceiling equipped with two single beds. Outside, a private small balcony comes with a coffee table and chairs, offering views - from a distance - of the Aegean Sea and part of Messaria’ s flatland vineyards .
Moreover, at the ground floor of the building, we maintain a modern Medical Center where we provide a high quality, caring, safe and friendly atmosphere within which we help locals – and of course our Med Homes guests - achieve and attain optimum levels of health.
Santorini Med Homes, along with an authentic and intimate feel, are privileged by their convenient location with plenty of Santorini’s best sights in reach:
• Fira town, the island’s capital with the Prehistoric Museum and the fascinating Cable Car perched on the Caldera cliffs , is within a distance of 3,5 Km .
• At about 3 Km one can find Monolithos, a lovely black sandy family beach, and at 5 km is settled the popular Kamari resort.
• The Akrotiri Excavation - a unique archaeological site and among the most important ones in the Eastern Mediterranean area – is just 15 minutes drive away.
• Furthermore, some of the island’s top wineries, such as the Estate Argyros, the Volcan Winery ( with its famous wine museum), the Santo Winery and the recently renovated Venetsanos Winery, are within easy reach by car or frequent local bus connection.
A few meters from the complex one can reach the local bus stations to all the island’s destinations ( some of them already mentioned above ).
Local restaurants & taverns, supermarkets, groceries, coffee shops, and a pharmacy are within a few steps walk.
