The island of Milos is located 86 miles south of the port of Piraeus with which it is connected on a daily basis with high speed and conventional vessels. Furthermore, Milos is connected with the Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" on daily basis, too. 
Milos spreads on an area of 151sq. Kms and its population is almost 5.000 people, most of the inhabants live in 8 villages located mainly on the eastern part of the island. The capital of the island is Plaka, well-known for the splended view of the sea and the natural Gulf of Milos. You should visit Adamantas, the tourist center οf the island and Trypiti where you will enjoy unforgettable gourmet dishes and the finest restaurants and taverns.
Other, remarkable destination are the rest of the villages like Triovassalos, Pera Triovassalos, Plakes, Pollonia and Zefyria. Milos is famous as a living geological museum but also is famous for its unique and numerous beaches. Some of the most impressive beaches are: Agia Kyriaki, Paliochori, Achivadolimni, Provatas, Triades, Papafragga cave, Fyriplaka, Tsigrado, Plathiena, Gerontas, Agios Ioannis and do not forget to visit the two most amazing places of the island Sarakiniko and Kleftiko.
