THE COMPANY
Near the beach of Mega Gialos, at the location of Liaropa, our traditional tavern called ‘’ O TALARAS’’ has been operating since 1995. Our tavern got its name from our family’s nickname. After 20 and more years, our target is to try to reach the perfect level on the subject of traditional gastronomy with clean, homemade and above all healthy dishes.
With products which are produced in Syros such as Sant Michalis cheese, spicy spread cheese (kopanisti),local smoked pork filet and sausages many other agricultural product, fresh fish and seafood, we create recipes that we want to remember them even when the holidays are over. We desire our food to look like in the taste with your mother’s and grandmother’s food, and we target to become the reason and the cause that you will think of Syros nostalgically.
You can taste our pies, the parsley spread salad of Syros, the vegetable tart with spicy spread cheese, fresh cups with capers in the oven, Sant Michalis cheese with chutney of yellow pumpkin and many other tasty dishes.
Finally you have to taste our traditional handmade desserts, a special offer from our managment, after your meal.
Cause the good food is not a luxury.
