THE COMPANY
The Museum of Folklore Culture of the Aegean is located in the installations of LEFKES VILLAGE providing Folklore Culture of the Aegean residents through exhibits to daily life and view of traditional to discover a world through difficult conditions, still achieved a life in harmony with the environment, respecting nature and human beings.
The rock unit (obsidians, heavy spar, perlite, kaolin, marbles, etc.),the steel industry unit (tools, building elements, verandas' rails) the pottery unit (earthenware jars, pitchers, pots from all the islands of the Aegean) the furniture unit, occupies the biggest part of the Museum and includes furniture from all the social environments and regions of the Aegean) and the Aegean folklore architecture unit with instructive drawings.
Relative thematic photographic reports are presented each year for display in the Museum, while a rich library and file with DVD/Video supplement the plunge into the Folklore Culture of the Aegean.
