THE COMPANY
The Rural Women's Cooperative Municipality Ydrousa "The Lady in the Aegean was founded in 2006. Members are women from the region of the City Ydrousa in Andros (Cyclades), most farmers.
The purpose of the cooperative is manufacturing and marketing of agricultural products and produce products based on local ingredients and traditional local recipes.
The association produces preserves, jams, confectionery, soft drinks and liqueurs, pasta, herbs, pickles, and handicrafts.
The products available through the office of the cooperative, through supermarkets and grocery Andros and some through other outlets such as shops selling tourist goods and cafe. The products are available throughout the island. The store is located in the cooperative Andros, one of the tourist resorts of 3 men and one of the most crowded in the summer.
The Association has been participating in local festivals, the festival of organic products in Pallini, Attica and oikofestival in Volos. Involved with the products of the exhibit in Thessaloniki, at the booth of Andros. He has also organized local celebrations with homemade food and music and has taken part in cultural events organized by other local actors.
