The Naxoskitelife Team
A professional kitesurfing school located in Mikri Vigla, Naxos. We offer IKO approved kitesurfing lessons - kite courses from beginner to advanced level and equipment rentals for confident riders.Our first priority is safety and contentment of our customers. All kitesurfing equipment used in the lessons is regularly checked and well suited to the student and weather conditions.
Our school is one of the three places in Greece that also organizes ITCs (Instruction Training Courses) for those who want to become kitesurfing instructors, dedicate their life to the sport and work worldwide.
Our Team is extremely responsible and always there to answer your questions. You will be guided from our organizer and book according to your needs. Our target is to make your staying in Naxos count and also enjoy as much as possible. Our instructors are qualified, professional with high experience and well motivated. They focus on your safety and they will try to help you progress fast and smoothly. The lessons are fun and flexible - adjusted to your needs.
Every Tuesday at 14.00 we offer a free theory lesson / introduction to kitesurfing in our school! We will be explaining in detail how our kitesurfing course looks like, talk about safeties, wind effects, wind directions, wind window, the equipment etc. You can meet our instructors and ask any questions!

Mikri Vigla Beach
Mikri Vigla is known for it's long sandy beach and good winds. The dominant wind (north) is side-onshore which makes the beach extremely safe and fun for kitesurfing lessons, kitesurf progression and expert riding. All the kiteboarders and instructors enjoy the two natural wind effects of Mikri Vigla: Wind speed is increased by bay effect, Venturi effect between Parthena island and the nearby mountain. The blue-green-tirquiz and really clean warm water is making the beach one of the most wanted of the island of Naxos.
Kitesurfing Rentals
Those who need to improve to meet the requirements can always get some kitesurfing lessons from our school.
We want to see that you :
- set up and launch the kite correctly
- have full control of the kite
- can ride upwind
- can bodydrag upwind
- know and respect the right of way rules
- keep safe distance of hazards and other beach users
- handle the equipment with care and pack it correctly in the end of each session
Rental Prices
- July, August, September:
2h Session: Complete 60 euros // only kite 40 euros // only board 20 euros //
3h Session: Complete 70 euros /// only kite 45 euros /// only board 20 euros ///
- Rest of the year:
2h Session: Complete 50 euros // only kite 30 euros // only board 20 euros //
3h Session: Complete 60 euros /// only kite 40 euros /// only board 20 euros ///
NOTE that 2 or 3 hours session should be done in a row. For example, if you start your 2h session at 13.00 you must finish by 15.00. Insurance for the equipment is not included. You Break It? You Pay It!
