Armenaki is a Greek traditional tavern run by Markos Gavalas. Based on Chora, Anafi, since 1999, is the most famous tavern on the island. Enjoy the wonderful view and taste the Greek Aegean cuisine.
Begin your day with a Greek breakfast, yogurt with local honey, omelette with local cheese and tomatoes and a fresh pricly pear - orange juice.
Lunch and dinner include traditional tastes like Greek salad made with Cretan tomatoes, fried potatoes from Naxos, gruyère from iOS served with local honey, fava from Santorini, tzatziki, feta cheese with extra virgin olive oil and oregano from Anafi, fresh fish, the light moussaka version by Markos cooked with minced fresh tuna and grilled eggplants, shrimp pasta and occasionally the famous greek fish soup kakavia.
Here you can taste Greek wine from Santorini (Argyros Estate), ouzo from Lesbos, raki from Crete.
During August the night ends with live Greek music and dance.
