The purpose of this announcement is to introduce you to the ‘Consultation study on digitalisation of Company Law’, funded by the European Commission (DG Justice and Consumers) and conducted by everis. It aims at gathering information regarding the use of digital tools in the area of company law across the different EU Members States. The purpose of this study is to modernise, rationalise and facilitate the interaction between companies and public authorities and to create a better framework for cross-border activities. This study also intends to assess the need for policy changes, its potential impact on the current costs and its administrative burden.
An important pillar of this study is the understanding of the current status of company law in the different EU Member States, the extent to which its processes are digitalised and how company owners are facing the digitalisation and actively (or not) making use of the digital tools developed.
For this purpose, in order to gather direct feedback from company owners, founders and/or directors, the following survey was launched in EUSurvey electronic platform: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/digitalisation_company_law
We would really appreciate, if you, as the Union of Hellenic Chambers of Commerce and Industry and main representative ofcompanies in Greece, could disseminate the survey among your members and companies.
We strongly believe that the insights collected from survey respondents are fundamental and will bring significant added value to our study so we will try to contact you by phone tomorrow,
Please find attached an endorsement letter from the European Commission.
We remain at your disposal for further clarifications and we look forward hearing from you.
Sincerely yours,
