Born and raised in Syros, the capital island of the Cyclades complex in Greece, professional photographer Stefanos Mamides, studied photography at the Leica Academy, in Athens.

He began his career working for the Greek magazine "O Efoplistis" (The Shipowner), the Action Images Sports Photo Agency and as a fine art photojournalist.

In 2003, returns to his hometown Hermoupolis. He likes to shoot anything that intrigues him, capturing the moment, creating memories. 

His studio specializes in wedding and baptism photography, fashion and portrait photo shoots as well as still life photography.
