THE COMPANY
Vigla Hotel is located in the northwest side of Amorgos, at the traditional village Tholaria, overlooking the bay of Aegiali, just 5’ away by car. It is perched at a high altitude (180 m.), offering incomparable views to the guests. It offers stunning views to Aegiali bay, Kroukelos mountain and Lagada village scattered in the hillside.
Hotel provides cozy and authentic accommodation to all its guests among the 3 separate buildings of Cycladic architecture and ample natural light. Traditional Cycladic architecture prevails, with natural sunlight and modern amenities. Single, twin, triple and family rooms are available, as well as a junior suite and a family suite. Rooms are radically renovated, offering all the contemporary facilities and private balcony or veranda with a scenic view that add to your pleasure and relaxation.
Breakfast includes many traditional local recipes as we are members of 'Greek Breakfast' program, created by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels. Buffet opens daily for Vigla guests and non-guests as well.
Vigla Hotel has a restaurant, indoor bar and pool bar, adult and children’s pool (non-heated), jacuzzi, free Wi-Fi and parking.
In Hotel’s restaurant, local specialties are cooked with care and attention to every detail from organic, seasonal vegetables. Zucchini and tomatoes, potatoes and onions, are all grown in the Hotel’s orchards. Homemade bread and local, free-range goat meat, extra virgin olive oil from our olive groves and hand-picked Amorgian fava compose the perfect menu.

In front of the Hotel, there is a bus stop and free parking. What is more, it is the perfect starting point for hiking lovers, as a lot of trails start near the hotel.
